Hello everyone,
I’ve just returned from Guatemala, and I want to share an update with you. You can watch the vlog above, or read the highlights below.
This trip was such a joy. We partnered with believers in Santa Maria, joining them in ministry and worship. I was able to capture stories of what God is doing through missionaries like Kirk and Alex and through Pastor Walter and his church. As I produce the content, we’ll work to share these with churches that can be encouraged by them.
One of the sweetest moments was when Pastor Walter and his wife invited us into their home and served us lunch. The food was wonderful, but even more meaningful was the love behind it. It felt like sitting down with family, because in Christ, that’s exactly who they are. The true joy of Christian service is not the gift itself, but the love that motivates it, which comes from Christ himself.
On this trip, I saw again how God brings together people of different nations to serve and encourage one another. It’s a beautiful picture of the body of Christ—His hands and feet moving around the world. I am so thankful for the relationships formed, the stories captured, and the encouragement shared.
