I Went to a Missions Conference…

I went to the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) “For the Nations” missions conference expecting to network, make connections, and find opportunities for Kingdom Vision. But God had something much bigger in mind.

God’s Faithfulness in Guatemala

I’ve just returned from Guatemala, and I want to share an update with you. You can watch the vlog above, or read the highlights below.

This trip was such a joy.

Vlog 2 – June 2025

Learning to trust Him more
I didn’t really plan to start a vlog today, but sometimes you just have to jump in. Things aren’t going the way I hoped. Fundraising, making connections, trying to get Kingdom Vision off the ground—it’s all been a lot harder than I expected.

I’m starting a new change, actually doing some work, even if I don’t have a full project funded or planned yet.

Here’s an example I just did. There’s a church near my house that puts out signs every Tuesday that say “Drive Thru Prayer.” I’ve seen them before, but I don’t know anything about it. I just knew God was doing something there, and I figured most of their congregation probably didn’t know what was happening there. So I stopped and asked if I could capture it.

They said yes.

No plan. No prep. Just thirty minutes of shooting and a few hours editing.

Trying, Failing, Learning

If you saw my last vlog, you know I’ve been working on raising funds for Kingdom Vision, going from looking for ongoing funds in general to also looking for funds for specific projects. But honestly? That hasn’t gone how I hoped either.

I’ve raised an embarrassingly small amount of money so far. When people ask me, “How’s it going?” I hate it becuase I really don’t know how to answer. I’ve had a lot of meetings. Sent a lot of emails. Met some great people. There’s potential in those things, but nothing yet.

And the thing God keeps teaching me, again and again, is to trust Him.

God Provides (Even When You Can’t See It Yet)

My brother-in-law gave me a book a while back called Faith Driven Entrepreneur, which I read. I didn’t think of myself as an entrepreneur, but that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m trying to build something that hasn’t existed before, and that’s hard.
