About Kingdom Vision

Vision (Our Big-Picture Dream)

A Church united with its missionaries—every member active, under the Word, for God’s glory.

Mission (How We Daily Build That Dream)

Connecting church members with missionaries through videos that tell God-honoring stories that inspire faithful service.

Core Values

  • God’s Glory Above All
    • The purpose of all God has made is His glory. If we confess Him as Lord, we should strive to display His glory through everything we do.
  • Salvation by Grace Alone
    • We are all guilty of sin before a Holy God and deserve death. We cannot earn salvation, but receive eternal life by God’s grace through faith in Christ’s finished work alone.
  • Biblical Authority
    • The Bible is God’s ultimate, inspired, inerrant, and sufficient authority for the knowledge of God and training in righteousness.
  • Holy Spirit Empowered Service
    • The Holy Spirit is living and active in all believers, guiding and sanctifying them to accomplish God’s will.
  • Importance of Local Church
    • God designed Christian life to be primarily lived out in the context of the local church.
  • Gospel-Centered Unity
    • While we may differ on secondary matters, those who hold to the essentials of the gospel should strive for peace and unity, working together where possible for the sake of the gospel.
  • Value of Truthful Storytelling
    • God uses truthful, authentic, God-honoring stories to teach and encourage His followers, stirring them to faithful obedience and building up the body of Christ.
  • Organizational Integrity
    • Kingdom Vision must operate in a transparent and trustworthy manner to support the gospel message.

My Story

I’ve wanted to make missionary videos since I was a teenager. The desire started while I was a missionary kid in the Philippines. My dad always said everyone had a calling from God—and I knew God had a calling for me.

In high school, I took a video production class and enjoyed it, so when applying for college, I chose a video production major over marine biology because, as I told my mom, “What am I gonna do, make Christian fish?” Even then, I wanted to serve the Lord directly with the skills He had given me, even if I didn’t know what it would look like.

I was still a relatively young Christian at the time, and sometimes that idea was overwhelming, “God had big expectations of me, how could I possibly meet those demands?” But, I moved on with life: college, marriage, two daughters, some jobs. Though the desire never waned, I also never made it a priority. Spiritually, I coasted on my Christian upbringing.

In 2018, my family moved to Ozark, Missouri, and we began attending First Baptist Church Ozark. I had never sat under preaching of the Word like we found there. Through it, God started to change me—I started to study Scripture, pray, and serve. I joined mission trips to Guatemala, Mexico, and Southeast Asia. On those trips, I created a few videos for missionaries, and God started showing me what that looked like. And, through His Word, I came to see how telling mission stories is part of how He builds His Kingdom.

I was excited—finally doing the work I believed God had given me. But each year, I was doing less of it, not more. Supporting a family, holding a job, and creating mission videos on the side was more than I could do.

But, I continued to see the need in the church. And I had the desire and skills to meet it… But I didn’t have the time.

I didn’t know what to do. On many drives to work, I could only pray, “Lord… help…”

Eventually, I came to a conclusion: if I was going to follow Jesus and obey this calling, it only made sense to raise support and do this full time.

I was familiar with fundraising as a missionary kid, but the idea of it still clashed with my American mindset: “I can work. Asking for money is for the helpless.” Those were my thoughts, but I wanted to know God’s thoughts. So, I turned to Scripture. I also found a great book that guided much of my study, The God Ask. I found that even Jesus relied on others for His earthly ministry. According to Scripture, fundraising isn’t begging—it’s trusting God to provide through His people. It’s not something a weak man does, but something only a strong, faith-filled Christian can do.

Once I embraced that, I thought I was ready. But I wasn’t. I made some false starts—clumsy, embarrassing—and eventually applied to a mission sending agency. Unfortunately, after many months it didn’t work out, but the process challenged my theology and trust in God’s timing. Looking back, it’s clear God planned that time to help me understand the evangelical landscape I was stepping into and strengthen my beliefs.

When that door closed, my mind started racing toward what was next. After seeking counsel, studying deeply, and watching God clear the way, I launched Kingdom Vision in March 2025.

My story is just like stories we want to tell at Kingdom Vision—ordinary people receiving God’s Word, trusting Him in faithful obedience, and seeing His glory magnified through their service.
