Kingdom Vision – Telling Stories of God's Kingdom

I just got back from the “For the Nations” Missions Conference in Northwest Arkansas, and I wanted to share what God impressed on my heart there. You can watch the vlog above, or read a lesser version here. Seriously, go check out the beautiful fall colors in the video! And the emotion!

When I first decided to go, I thought of it mainly as a practical trip, a chance to network, meet new people, and find more opportunities for Kingdom Vision. And while those things did happen (I met some wonderful people excited about what we’re doing), God used this conference to do something much deeper in me.

Throughout the sessions, I was impressed upon, by the Holy Spirit, about the bigness of our God and how much he is doing across the world. There are so many stories to tell! And they need to be heard so everyone can see how big our God is!

One speaker, Steve Shadrach, author of The God Ask, said, “Don’t be money-driven. Be vision-driven.” That truth struck me hard. If Kingdom Vision had all the funding in the world, we could tell so many stories! Stories of God’s work through His people that deserve to be proclaimed. And that’s exactly what I want Kingdom Vision to do!

I don’t want to be the one doing it all, I can’t. I want to build a team, a network of storytellers who can go and capture what God is doing around the world. The people are there, the stories are there, and the opportunities are there. What’s missing is the support to make it happen. And God will provide, let’s see how many stories we can tell!

I believe Kingdom Vision is about to grow, that more stories will be told, more encouragement for the Church, and ultimately more glory for Christ.

Here’s my request to you: please pray!
